End-of-Life Journey

The only certainty in life for us and our loved ones is that at some point the final journey of our lives is going to come.

It may come suddenly or last for an extended period of time. It may be a short or very long journey, lasting years.

Until that day, we rarely give much deep thought to how it will impact us emotionally and spiritually.
Some of us plan for the practical: short and long-term health care options, lifestyle choices and financial planning. But when we face the unexpected realization: “I am - or someone I love is - on the end-of-life journey”, everything changes.
While the specifics may vary from person to person, our minds, hearts and daily lives become affected, and in many cases dominated or devastated, by grief, uncertainties, and fear of the unknown. And, for our loved ones the impact lasts long after passing from this world. In this situation, where do we turn for help?
